we meet at the free press every fortnight to discuss a reading, which you can find below. please read it beforehand if you can. each session is led by one of us, and we may change the format from time to time.


{ the idea }

a reading group about some of the philosophical underpinnings of effective altruism and rationalism, and the virtues and habits that started the movement. we hope to use this space to explore ideas, what they mean for us and how we act in the world. it is open to everybody.
